Let the Sky Fall

Let the Sky Fall - Shannon Messenger OOOh, suprisingly good. It took my quite a few pages to start to like it, but after that i loved Vane and Audra! Freshly new world and mythology and very real and vivid characters! What not to love?

Easy

Easy - Tammara Webber It's so easy to love this book. Believable and drama-free romance, it was a delight to read a book like that! I wish Lucas was real...

Succubus on Top (Georgina Kincaid Series #2)

Succubus on Top - Richelle Mead It was everything I wanted from Georgina! Maybe the only book series where I don't care about the love stories. Georgina would be fun if the whole book was about her brushing her teeth. But don't worry, there's a plot there...

Glitter Kiss

Glitter Kiss - Adrianne Ambrose, Monica Gallagher That was not at all what I expected! I kinda thought there would be more magic and less teenage drama, but it was fun to read anyways. I liked the switched point of views. Although the story was more or less cliché the cute drawing and the funny lines made it a sweet afternoon read. I could have been a little darker it would have suited my taste the better. All in all I liked it, it was light, funny and happy.

Feyland: The Dark Realm

Feyland: The Dark Realm - Anthea Sharp A rather original take on the urban fantasy novels.Jennet is a gamer. She is one of the VirtuMax kids, which means she is rich and has access to the best sim systems available, and even those which are forbidden to use. She got herself entangle in a game of Feyland which has serious effect on her real life as well. She need help, but who could she find worthy of defeating the Queen, when she herself couldn't do it? Tam is a player too. The best there is, at least in the little city where Jennet moved with her father. Tam is Jennett's one and only chance and they form an unlikely alligance which soon turns out to be an enjoyable companionship.Feyland has a unique and clever take on the fantasy land and the lovers from different worlds themes and that makes this book a quite refereshing experience!

Throne of Glass

The Assassin and the Princess - Sarah J. Maas Not, bad, not bad, not excellent either. Couldn't quite put a finger on it, but something felt odd in this book sometimes. Actually if I see it in pieces it was very good. The characters were interesting, Celaena was strong both in mind and body, yet she was girlish sometimes, so she was absolutely lovable. Dorian, the prince, was an entertaining fellow, but with thoughts; and Chaol, the strong and grumpy Captain found his way into my heart also. The storyline was a bit odd, because sometimes we were stuck in a day for many pages then suddenly leapt two or three weeks, but that wasn't so confusing. What was missing? Kinda like i thought sometimes this book was all talk no action. They feared Celaena, trembled when they said her name but actually nothing happened in the book that really showed her strenght and talent. She was more girlish than assasin-like. Also the tests, that were supposedly determine the future of the assasin were just mentioned sometimes. I would have like to see more action, more demonstration of Celaenas talent, than maybe I could have loved it. This way I just liked it.

Her Mad Hatter

Her Mad Hatter - Marie Hall Wow! That was wicked good! Wicked good! It was quite a surprise because I didn't expect much, just a cute and strange story. Well, it was definitely strange but in good and entertaining way, but it wasn't cute at all. Instead it was sexy as hell! The Mad Hatter was crazy indeed but also layered.I loved that we could see behind his torment and Alice's path wasn't just rainbows and butterflies either. On the contrary, her past and present was very unnerving. I was happy that although it was a sensual story the characters weren't just mindless fools in lust as they usually are in books like this. Their objections against their obvious love towards each other were well founded and believable. Wonderland was a bit confusing sometimes but it is as it should be. It's Wonderkand we're talking about.Although Hatter and Alice's story is finished I'm looking forward to read the other stories in the Kingdom series as well, especially the Wolf's story!I would like to thank the writer and the Lovers of Paranormal group the opportunity to read this book. I became a fan!

Driving Mr. Dead (Half Moon Hollow, #1)

Driving Mr. Dead - Molly Harper That was sweet, sexy and very funny. Miranda was downright hilarious and very likable, with her unfortunate accidents and Mr. Sutherland was a character that was mixed from the best qualities of Mr. Darcy and dr. Sheldon Cooper! :)Big like! I'm going to read the other books in the series!

My Soul to Take (Soul Screamers)

My Soul to Take - Rachel Vincent It was quite good for a series starter. the banshee mythology is a fresh topic, and i liked that everything about it was unexpected. although kaylee was sometime s bit annoying. she took everything so well, and became an expert way too early and their relationship with nash developed in a rush. it would have been fun to wait for them for a little bit. tod was my favourite...:)

Pride and Prejudice and Zombies: The Classic Regency Romance-now with Ultraviolent Zombie Mayhem! (Quirk Classics)

Pride and Prejudice and Zombies - Seth Grahame-Smith now, that was weird. i liked it actually but it was more for the classic rather than this zombie twist. At some place it was too much, other places it was too less, sometimes i felt like i was reading the original than bam! a zombie appeares! all in all readable, but i recommend the original instead.

Blood Bound (Mercy Thompson, Book 2)

Blood Bound - Patricia Briggs After the disastrous first book i didn't expect much, but this was actually good. More action, less confusion, much-much more vampires and a lovable, but badass heroine. loved it!
